Medical Oncology

Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, which include tumours of the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, bile duct and bowel (colon and rectum).
Genitourinary cancers, which include bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers. Head and neck, thyroid cancer and Phase 1 trials.
Thoracic cancers, which includes lung cancers, thymus cancers and mesothelioma. I also have an interest in genetics.
Specialising in Breast Cancer. I am jointly appointed to the Austin Hospital as a clinician and to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute as a Clinician Scientist.

Pancreas & Biliary Surgery

Liver, pancreas, biliary surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery. I have an interest in advanced liver, biliary and pancreatic cancer, including the treatment of borderline resectable cancers.

Interventional Radiology

Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. I have particular interests in Body Imaging and Interventional Radiology. I perform interventional radiology procedures, focusing on interventional oncology and endovascular procedures.
Specialist Interventional and Hepatobiliary Radiologist. I have particular focus on interventional oncology – the minimally invasive diagnosis and targeted treatment of cancer.


Depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, stress management, related to the diagnosis or treatment of cancer. I also assist chronic disease or condition management, sleep difficulties, and many more conditions.


Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Diabetes Educator. My special interest is Nutrition Support in Oncology for improved nutritional status and stabilisation of body weight.

Exercise Physiology

Musculoskeletal conditions, balance disorders, chronic fatigue and pain management. I have interest in exercise physiology for oncology patients.
Lauren has worked in private practice prescribing exercise for a wide range of conditions and has previous experience working in both public and private hospitals
